Note on SoftArtisans FileUp

A file upload includes two parts:

• Client-side file submission
• Server-side upload processing

In the following exercises, SoftArtisans JFile performs the client-side file submission, and SoftArtisans FileUp (our server-side file-transfer component) processes the upload on the server. The JFile scripts you will create post to SoftArtisans FileUp scripts included in the JFileSamples virtual directory. If SoftArtisans FileUp is not installed on your server, and you do not want to change the sample scripts, download a free evaluation of SoftArtisans FileUp from SoftArtisans. If you choose to use another component to accept the upload, modify the server-side scripts accordingly.
