FileUp and FileUpEE

A file upload includes two parts:

Client-side file submission
Server-side upload processing

FileUp and FileUp Enterprise Edition (FileUpEE) are server-side file transfer controls. In most of the following upload examples, JFile performs the client-side file submission, and FileUp processes the upload on the server. The JFile scripts post to FileUp scripts included in the JFileSamples virtual directory. If FileUp is not installed on your server, and you do not want to change the sample scripts, download a free evaluation of FileUp from SoftArtisans. If you choose to use another component to accept the upload, modify the server-side scripts accordingly.

JFile Enterprise Edition (JFileEE) offers resumable uploading, resumable downloading, and unlimited upload size. To create a resumable upload or download application, or if you expect uploads that are greater than 4-GB, you must use FileUpEE to handle the server-side file transfer processing.
