Object Model ImageGen Font Images Image


Image

The Image object represents a single image in an Images collection. Images.Item returns an Image object. Item is the default property of Images, so, to set an Image object, use either:

Set objImage = Images("ImageName")
or,
Set objImage = Images.Item("ImageName")

Format

Returns one of five image file formats:

SAJpeg0
SAGif1
SATif2
SAWmf3
SABmp4
SAPcx5
SAPng6
SAPsd8

Example:

	For Each Item in objImages
		If Item.Ordinal <= objImages.Count Then
			Response.Write Item.Name & "<br>"
			Select Case Item.Format
      			Case 0                  
				Response.Write "JPEG" & "<br><br>"
      			Case 1                	
				Response.Write "GIF" & "<br><br>"
      			Case 2                  
		 		Response.Write "TIF" & "<br><br>"
     			Case 3

Image

Returns an image's binary data.

Example:

	Set objImages = Server.CreateObject("SoftArtisans.Images")	
	objImages.LoadImage "Starry Night", "d:\images\starrynight.gif"
	objImages.LoadImage "Evening", "d:\images\evening.jpg"
	objImages.LoadImage "House", "d:\images\house.jpg"
	
	Set imgEvening = objImages("Evening")
	'--- Display the image "Evening"
	Response.BinaryWrite imgEvening.Image

Name

Returns the name assigned to an image by LoadImage.

Example:

	Set objImages = Server.CreateObject("SoftArtisans.Images")
	....
	For Each Item in objImages
		If Item.Ordinal <= objImages.Count Then
			Response.Write Item.Name & "<br>"
		End If
	Next

Ordinal

Returns the ordinal number of an image in an Images collection.

Example:

	Set objImages = Server.CreateObject("SoftArtisans.Images")
	....
	For Each Item in objImages
		If Item.Ordinal <= objImages.Count Then
			Response.Write Item.Name & "<br>"
		End If
	Next
