I want to know, if the imgwriter is compatible with windows server 2008 64bits ?

Yes, if you put it in an app pool with "enable 32-bit applications" turned on.  You can basically follow the same instructions as in this KB article for FileUp.

I did this before, I setup on 2008, just created a subdomain w32.yoursite.com, and enabled 32bit applications and process all my imgwriter work off that app pool.
