FileUp with Classic ASP and Windows 8/.NET 4.0

Hello,

I am running Windows 8.1/ Local IIS 7.5, .NET 4.0, Classic ASP. (App Pool in classic mode).

First I tried FileUpV5.0.14.535-Full (also installed on servers - windows 2003/IIS6) and that didn't work. So I installed FileUp-Installer-v5.1.2-Full. Setup completed successfully. I can find SoftArtisans.FileUp in the registry. When I run classic ASP, I get ActiveX component can't create object. I tried both below.
Set oUpload = Server.CreateObject("SoftArtisans.FileUp")
Set oUpload = Server.CreateObject("SoftArtisans.FileUp.1")

I also tried >whatdll softartisans.fileup but it cannot find it.

Do I need new version of the software? Any other tips to fix this? Thanks in advance.

You should install Version 5.4. Log in and download instructions have been sent by our Customer Service team.

Thanks Dan. I uninstalled with an error: Error 1905. Module C:\Program Files (x86)\SoftArtisans\FileUp\com\SAFUpps.dll failed to unregister. Contact your support personnel. Then I installed FileUp-Installer-v5.4.1-Full. I am still getting ActiveX cannot create object error.
I executed - whatdll softartisans.fileup I get below.

Try a manual uninstall first:
