Please check the "SAXFileSamples" directory in IIS. The XFile samples are dependent on application variables. If the installer failed to create this directory in IIS as an application directory, the samples will fail to run in the manner described above.

To change the virtual directory into an application directory:

1. Right-click on the directory in IIS.

2. Choose properties from the context-sensitive menu.

3. On the "Virtual Directory" tab. Look for the "Application Settings" section.

4. If "Application Name" is greyed-out, click on the button named "Create". This will make this directory an application directory.

5. The Application Name will become active and the value will be "SAXFileSamples".

6. Click OK.

Run the samples again. If this was done correctly, images should load properly and the progress indicator should show accurate progress.
