Licensing
- ExcelWriterEE Licensing
Licensing is per CPU. A license is required for each CPU where ExcelWriter is installed. There are no per user, per IP address, per Web site, or per server licenses. The ExcelWriterEE license does not allow redistribution of ExcelWriter.
- ExcelWriterSE Licensing
Licensing is per server. A license is required for each server - with up to two CPUs - where ExcelWriterSE is installed. There are no per user, per IP address, or per Web site licenses. The ExcelWriterSE license does not allow redistribution of ExcelWriter.
- ExcelWriterLE Licensing
Licensing is per server. There are no per user, per IP address, or per Web site licenses. The ExcelWriterLE does not allow redistribution of ExcelWriter.
- ExcelWriter Desktop Licensing
Licensing is per developer with no run-time royalties. ExcelWriter Desktop cannot be used within a Windows NT/2000 Service or within an MTS/COM+ Library or Server package. ExcelWriter Desktop includes a redistributable version of saexcel.dll, that you can distribute with your desktop application. * ExcelWriterLE and ExcelWriterFree will fail when generating more than 200 spreadsheets within 24 hours. Generated spreadsheets can be streamed to the browser or saved in static files on the hard disk. Static spreadsheets can be served an unlimited number of times.
