Windows 2008 - ActiveX component can't create object
We are migrating to Windows 2008 and I just downloaded and installed the latest version of 5.1 today. I enabled IIS6 compatibility before installing. I installed only the ASP version, no .Net, no samples. My IUSR account has permissions to c:\windows\temp as well as the destination directory. However, I get the ActiveX component can't create object error when attempting an upload. I have read everything on this forum I could find but still having problems. Any suggestions? I am running a 64 bit version of Windows, might this be a problem?

Thanks,
Chris

OK, I found the info on 64 bit so answered this myself. Any chance of a 64 bit version someday?

We currently don't have a timeframe for when we will implemement a 64-bit version, but with Windows 2008 you do have some better options than with previous versions of Windows.  You can put FileUp in a separate application pool, and set that application pool only to run in 32-bit mode.  The rest of IIS will still run in 64-bit mode.
